Director of Marketing Philanthropy / Medical Development (Project Management)



Work Schedule:

This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position scheduled to work Monday through Friday, with core hours between the hours of 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

Join the #1 hospital in Wisconsin and help impact fundraising for a dynamic health enterprise.  Take the lead on strategy and marketing program development for Wisconsin Medicine, a $500 million campaign to support pioneering research and groundbreaking clinical care at UW Health and the UW School of Medicine and Public Health.

We are seeking a Director of Marketing Philanthropy / Medical Development to:

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies for the Wisconsin Medicine campaign.
  • Create and drive the direction and leadership of strategic, marketing and programmatic activities for Medical Development marketing.
  • Work with senior leadership across the medical enterprise to develop, present and gain approval for strategies and programs that drive philanthropic engagement at a national and local level. Community.

Education:

Minimum – Bachelor's degree in a relevant subject area such as marketing, communication or development/fundraising.

Preferred – Master's degree in a relevant subject area such as marketing, communication or development/fundraising.

Work Experience:

Minimum – Seven (7) years' relevant experience in the management of marketing and/or communication to support development or fundraising at a large institution

Preferred – Experience in a large academic or complex health program.
