Purpose
~ The Assistant Manager, Genesis Service Program Management provides operational, project management, and analytical/strategic support to the Genesis management team.
~ This position is focused on assisting Genesis management with day-to-day operations and project support for service valet, service lane technology, courtesy vehicle program and the vendor partners that support.
Major Responsibilities
~ With direction from management, create and compile division presentations and reports such as business plan reviews, status reports, executive presentations, and key performance indicator (KPI) reporting.
~ Assist management teams with the overall Genesis service valet, service lane technology, courtesy vehicle program, process training strategy and deployment. Includes working with Genesis management and suppliers to ensure the scope of services, business requirements, training implementation, materials and courses align with the brand standard and are streamlined and consistent across the division.
~ Publish accurate and timely KPI reports and analysis to management, Regional Operation Managers, Market Managers and Retailers.
~ Collaborate, share, and support relationships across Hyundai Motor America, Digital Operations, Genesis Connected Services and the Ownership Marketing team.
~ Ensure Genesis Service programs stay within budget and in compliance with GMA's Finance and Administration policies. Provide budget support for Genesis Service programs. Activities include budget submission, reporting, identifying variances, facilitating transfers, and processing GL budget corrections and processing invoices upon validation from business unit.
~ Shared department field communications, post / send messages for dealer, field, and other GMA departments.
~ Collaborate on the dealer best practices with warranty for service/recall and customer care campaigns.
~ Manage and maintain Technician uniform program.
~ Additional responsibilities include MPI forms, Genesis folio related projects.
~ Trouble shooting on Service Lane Technology related issues.
~ Program development with HAEA/Autoever.
~ Collaboration with Sales process team on PDI.
~ Compile and maintain division policy and procedure documents.
~Serve as a liaison for Purchasing matters and communicate status updates to internal stakeholders as requested by Management.
~Provide operational and analytical support as needed.
~Work with managers to coordinate, and report monthly expenditures/accruals to the team as requested.
~Support as needed, GMA CVP daily operations, logistics, VLA processing, transportation, detailing, vehicle admin, distribution, returns, and leasing.
~ Train team members on division programs and budget to promote development and knowledge sharing as requested by management. Participate in cross – functional training as required by management.
~ Complete ad hoc projects, assignments and tasks as deemed appropriate and assigned by management.
~Maintain and update communication resources and distribution lists (e.g. retailer/field distribution list) as needed.
~ Perform other duties and assignments as determined by management.
Authority
~ System development, problem identification and finding solutions are all expected in this position.
~ Manage relationships with vendors, affiliates and contractors where assigned.
~ Create, release, and pay departmental invoices through SAP.
Education
~ Must be a high school graduate.
~ Bachelor's. degree preferred.
Related Experience
~ Five to six years of relevant experience.
~ Project Management experience desirable.
~ Budget Management experience desirable.
~ Experience with Service Lane Technology providers desirable.
~ Previous vendor management experience desirable.
~ Experience with or managing a Courtesy Vehicle program a plus.
Skill/Knowledge
~ Proficient in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, MS Project, Access, and Photoshop.
~ Excellent interpersonal and communication (written and verbal) skills.
~ Strong analytical skills with basic statistic knowledge.
~ SAP experience preferred.
~ Proven ability to work independently in the field while interdependent on headquarters' staff.
~ Must be capable of multi-tasking, setting priorities and scheduling work activities with minimal supervision.
~ Able to resolve problems, think analytically and critically, and communicate professionally in high pressure, time sensitive, customer environments.
~ Must be a self-starter, enthusiastic team player.
Certification Required
~ Driver's license and good driving record required to drive a company car.
~ PMP certificate preferred.
Physical Requirements
~ Normal office duties.
~ Ability to travel as needed.
