Quality Test Engineer III (Architecture)

This dynamic, highly visible role drives product Quality & Reliability related data analysis for internally, and external customers to monitor and improve product quality. Quality Test Engineer will collaborate with the Global Operations organization and key business units, engineering leadership, business operations, and sales. This job requires strong technical capability, a good understanding of SPC, failure mode analysis, FIT, MTTF and highly effective communication skills to debug process level issues. Working together as a team to resolve them to the satisfaction of our customers. The candidate will work seamlessly across internal development teams and our customers during critical issue escalations and drive issues to closure in time to meet customer satisfaction.
About the Position:
Monitor and support process compliance of development teams.
Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates options and makes sound design recommendations for product development or enhancement.
Prepares reports and technical specifications.
Assists with project management and scheduling of customer requirements.
Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards requirements.
Utilizes Six Sigma and other statistical methods for problem solving and process improvement.
About You:
Highly motivated individual.
Completed studies in materials science, electrical engineering, or comparable.
At least 5 years of professional experience in quality or process, preferably in the semiconductor industry.
Semiconductor reliability and test knowledge (AEC-Q100, JEDEC & IEC standards)
Background in automotive & medical standards is a plus.
Knowledge in Minitab, LabView, and JMP preferred
Detail-oriented and team-oriented. Experience working with multicultural teams is a plus.
