WHAT YOU'LL DO

This position is responsible for the sales operations and achievement of revenue goals within the International sales channel, and is responsible for the execution of the sales strategy. This position ensures the inside sales staff, inclusive of salespeople and management, is aligned with the company's strategic initiatives and has the tools in place to meet its objectives & key performance indicators.

WHERE YOU'LL WORK

This position will work hybrid from our Gilbert, Arizona office location.  Remote candidates will be considered.

HOW YOU'LL SPEND YOUR TIME

  • Identify, create and ensure successful implementation of sales processes that support the key functions of the International sales channel.
  • Work within the department and cross functionally with other departments to ensure alignment and communicate priorities and direction accurately and consistently.
  • Coach and mentor direct reports to ensure they have the tools necessary to be successful and to remove any road blocks they might be encountering.
  • Create a winning culture that is focused on the customer experience, the success of the company and the success of the people in our department.
  • Achieve revenue goals in the International sales channel to meet growth objectives.
  • Manage efforts and outcomes of sales reps and account managers to achieve revenue goals through identification and acquisition of new partners.
  • Sales forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Management and execution of International sales channel operations.
  • Sales staff development, including hiring, onboarding, and training required for a high performing team of sales representatives and account managers.
  • International Partner Relationship Management.
  • Research, develop and implement market expansion strategies and business development plans. Strategies may include licensing, distribution and/or direct sales.
  • Deliver market insights for DVP and SLT by working collaboratively wiith sales, product, current and potential distribution partners, market research agents, consultants, industry associations, strategic partners, and traveling to international and domestic regions to conduct in-person research. International travel will be required for this position.
  • Implement and improve sales and account management best practices and KPIs to drive predictable and repeatable results.
  • Collaborate with management and legal counsel to negotiate and formalize terms and agreements with international and health club partners.
  • Collaborate with internal product, marketing, live events, operations and project management teams to develop and support the scalable delivery of market-validated international instructor training, branding and partner resources.
  • As needed, assist in representing F&W as an Industry Representative/Liaison.
  • Assist marketing with PR strategies in relation to Industry affairs and advocacy work.
  • Hand off potential opportunities to the partnership team that aren't related to International or Health Club channel growth.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 5+ years of sales and/or business development experience with a proven track record of success in a fast paced & high performance environment
  • Experience in Fitness industry required
  • Ability to multitask and work well in a high performance and fast paced environment
  • Knowledge of NASM's programs, products, services and website preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft CRM and Excel
  • Deep understanding of the sales process, sales tool development, and sales enablement
  • Ability to work well with others to achieve organizational goals
  • Effective and persuasive presentation & communication skills
  • Strong leader with excellent problem solving capabilities and solid business acumen
  • Occasional travel is required, up to 25% of the time certain times of year
