Lead Melon Cutter (Manufacturing)

Our newest store located in Sayville, NY is seeking a FT Produce Cut Lead for its busy Produce Department. Our Produce Cut Room Lead (Fruit/Produce Cutter) will collaborate with a team to deliver the finest produce presentation for our customers. All of our produce is fresh, and must be handled, prepared and merchandised properly to deliver the highest level of customer service and satisfaction in our store.

Responsibilities
Will prepare fruit salads, cut produce as directed by our company fruit bowl recipe and produce dishes and sidesWill Lead a team of Produce Clerk (Fruit/Produce Cutters) within the department to ensure that all employees are fulfilling the orders for the dayResponsible for ensuring the cleanliness of all work surface tops while carving and cutting our fruitWill ensure proper ingredients for each fruit bowl and fruit arrangement, crafting to the selected recipeOther duties and functions as assigned

Requirements
HS Diploma or equivalentPrevious experience leading a team within the kitchenExperience working with fresh produce and following recipe ordersBasic knowledge of math, weights, and measuresBe dependable and reliableMust have excellent communication skills
