Patient Support Specialist (Healthcare)
Status: Full Time
Hours: Monday-Friday 10:30am-7:30pm
General Job Duties:
Check in and check out patients, answer phones, medical records, authorizations and misc. duties including: entering patient information into the computer, assisting patients with questions or issues, making follow-up appointments, posting charges and balancing money. When answering the phones: schedule appointments, assist callers, take triage messages and route calls appropriately. Greet visitors and vendors and direct them to the appropriate personnel. May be required to travel and fill-in at other locations.
