Summary :
In this role you will be r esponsible for a variety of field and office support roles under the direction of more experienced personnel. Primary responsibility will Construction Quality Assurance (CQA) oversight of various environmental construction projects. Position requires direction from Senior technician, Field Manager, Engineer, or Project Manager. Perform tasks with input and guidance from more experienced personnel. Work under supervision from others. Primary contact is with internal project teams.

Education/Experience:
High school diploma required. Associates degree in related field preferred. Typically 1-3 years' experience in environmental services or related field, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience. Mechanical and technical aptitude and understanding of field equipment. Experience with operation of GPS survey equipment and/or nuclear density/moisture gauge a plus. Intermediate knowledge and proficiency in use of Microsoft Office and other software as necessary to perform job functions. Experience level in this position may vary by individual based on skill levels and performance.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently or on a team.

The noise level in the work environment may vary based on the assignment. Hearing protection may be necessary. Work may involve use of personal protective equipment (PPE) including a respirator.
Work will be conducted both in an outdoor field environment and on occasion in the office. Outdoor work will involve potential for exposure to various physical and chemical hazards of varying degree and type. This will include work under heat and cold stress and other adverse environmental conditions.

The employee is occasionally required to sit. *The employee will be subject to physical exertion and must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
*The employee may work in the field for extended periods and may require extended travel away from home. The employee must be able to work in personal protective equipment including respirator, and must have physical clearance for PPE. *Ability to drive and operate a vehicle. An annual medical exam may be necessary based on the work assignment.
