Industrial Design Intern (Finance)

The User Centered Design team is a close, tight-knit group of people who work in cross-functional teams and support all divisions of the company, including Research, Home Entertainment, Noise Reduction and Headphones, Professional Audio, New Ventures, and Automotive Systems. Our internal capabilities include Industrial Design, User Experience, User Research, and Out of Box Experience.
We are seeking creative, passionate, out-of-the-box thinker that thrive on exploring possibilities and have a desire to see their ideas delight our customers. Exceptional sketching and rapid visualization skills (on paper, digitally, in cardboard, masking tape, whatever it takes) are a must. We like to get into 3D quickly so modeling skills in Rhino, Solidworks, or other 3D packages are a core part of our process. We also visualize and render in Keyshot or Modo. Proficient using AdobeSuite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and Indesign). Knowledgeable about production processes and materials are a nice to have.
Positions are located at the Bose Design Center in Framingham, MA, about 30 minutes from Boston. We currently have spring and fall co-op opportunities run for roughly 6 months. Join this vibrant and growing team focused on delivering award winning global product experiences to our customers.
Education/Class Requirements:
Completion of their Sophomore year in the pursuit of a degree in Industrial Design.
