Vancouver office of our client seeks corporate/securities attorney with 7+ years of experience including handling securities compliance. The candidate will manage certain existing client relationships, work with other attorneys in the business and corporate practice group with existing client matters, and will be expected to establish new client relationships. Will handle securities matters for clients. Analyze complex legal issues. Prepare legal documents. Maintain positive relationships with firm clients. Participate in marketing and community involvement activities. Should have securities experience, including advising startups, structuring venture capital, angel investor, and debt financing, and handling private placements. Must also have experience with a variety of general business and corporate matters, including entity formations, mergers and acquisitions, contracts, corporate and partnership tax, and general corporate counseling. Thorough understanding of business and corporate law, including securities compliance is essential. Familiarity with corporate and partnership tax is needed. Must be licensed in Washington and Oregon (or ability to obtain reciprocity admission in Oregon).Established around the mid-twentieth century, this reputed law firm is based in Washington.
