Virtual Academic Resource Center Manager (Creative Design)
SUMMARY:
Reporting to the University Librarian, the Virtual Academic Resource Center Manager plans, implements, supervises, and assesses the Virtual Academic Resource Center's (ARC) resources and services. These resources and services include tutoring, the writing center, and on-demand resources. Through the Campus Librarian, Assistant Librarian, or Library Assistant of Library Services, the Manager provides day-to-day coordination of the activities of tutoring/learning center that supports student academic success through group, one-on-one, and course-based formats of service in a discipline for academic courses across campuses. In conjunction with the University Librarian of Library Services, the manager will set objectives for the Center that are consistent with the University's institutional initiatives in student success. The Manager maintains the quality, coherence, and continuity of the overall programs and assumes an active role in promoting and supporting academic achievement. The Manager provides administrative services to support the center that includes, but not limited to, scheduling, reports, supplies, and budget. Seeks new and innovative methods to support students in academic performance and success across the campus.
EDUCATION:
LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS:
Minimum 3 years of directly related experience, preferably in a higher education setting.
