Investment Application Support Analyst (Finance)
Summary of Job Responsibilities
The Investment Application Support Analyst will be responsible for resolving data, operational, and workflow issues within the public and private markets investment systems. The Analyst will also work with end users to assist with documenting and developing business requirements for the investment systems.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Participates in the production support rotation, providing coverage of the day-to-day functional and operational issues within the investment systems
Validates control checks daily for data integrity of the data warehouse, private markets, and order management systems, and identifies and proposes solutions to exceptions
Serves as a Data Steward to ensure accuracy and completeness of data within the investment systems
Documents current business processes, investigates investment customers' business needs, and translates them into clear, detailed, functional requirements
Liaises between business users, technical teams, and software vendors to investigate and/or develop solutions to business/systems issues
Creates and modifies dashboards and reports to assist with investment analysis, reconciliations, and system performance.
Provides research assistance and functionality testing for investment system implementations and upgrades
Facilitates demonstrations, user acceptance testing, creation of job aids, and occasional training activities for the release of new system enhancements and functionality
Completes quarterly and annual reporting requirements as defined by policy or statute
Provides coverage of Investment Operations' responsibilities, including processing of corporate actions, cash management, trade settlements, and reconciliation of positions, cash, and transactions.
Cross-trains and cross-covers Investment Operation's desks for contingency backup and knowledge growth
Maintains up-to-date documentation, procedures, and policies
Carries out other duties as assigned
Job Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or closely related field; five years of Investment Operations, Investment Accounting, and/or Investment System experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Broad knowledge of public and private market investment instruments and familiarity with investment-related software such as BlackRock Aladdin, Bloomberg, and LongView. Experience with Snowflake and Power BI preferred.
Experience creating documentation such as business requirements, process diagrams, and test cases
Ability to succinctly and clearly communicate complex business requirements and technical information to various stakeholders
Experience with business process modeling, business analysis, and Agile methodology
Strong analytical skills (Assessment / Decision Making / Problem Solving)
Interpersonal skills including customer service, training, and conflict management
Effective oral, written, and presentation communication skills

Salary: $95,000.00 to $110,000.00 Annual, Commensurate with experience
