Senior Manager, Healthcare Financial Transformation (Personal Services)

Summary/objective

The Senior Manager leads healthcare financial transformation initiatives, with a primary focus on value-based care model implementation and rural healthcare strategy. The successful candidate is responsible for developing and executing business plans, driving firm growth, and providing strategic guidance to our clients in the healthcare industry.

  • Healthcare Financial Transformation: Lead and oversee healthcare financial transformation initiatives, including the implementation of value-based care models, performance improvement, cost reduction strategies, revenue cycle optimization, and financial process improvement.
  • Business Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive business plan with a focus on firm growth. Identify new business opportunities, cultivate client relationships, and collaborate with the leadership team to expand the firm's presence in the healthcare consulting market.
  • Client Engagement: Serve as a trusted advisor to healthcare clients, providing strategic guidance and expertise in financial transformation and rural healthcare initiatives. Collaborate with clients to understand their unique challenges and develop tailored solutions to drive sustainable improvements in financial performance.
  • Project Management: Lead cross-functional project teams to deliver high-quality, value-added services to clients. Oversee the planning, execution, and quality control of consulting engagements, ensuring timely delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay up to date on industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices in healthcare financial transformation. Leverage insights to develop thought leadership content, participate in industry events, and contribute to the firm's reputation as a healthcare knowledge leader.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide junior team members, providing coaching, support, and development opportunities to foster their professional growth within the healthcare consulting practice.

Work environment

Work to be performed in HORNE office setting, client environment with flexible arrangements.

Travel Requirements

  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet client needs (approximately 30-40% travel).

Physical demands

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds at times.

Required education and experience

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, finance, business management, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in healthcare consulting, financial advisory, or related roles, with a focus on healthcare financial transformation and value-based care model implementation.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing successful business plans, driving revenue growth, and cultivating client relationships within the healthcare industry.
  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to lead complex engagements, manage multiple priorities, and deliver results within established timelines.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and industry stakeholders.
  • Background check required (including MVR)

Preferred education and experience

  • Advanced degree (MBA,MHA, or similar) preferred.
