Associate Graphic Designer (Creative Design)



SUMMARY:

Reporting to the Art Director, Creative Director, the associate graphic designer should be creative, have a sharp eye for detail and have experience in both print and digital, such as advertisements, websites, signage, branding, direct mail and more. Under the guidance of the Creative Director, the associate graphic designer will create engaging marketing assets to produce high-quality work through impactful designs that capture messages, stories, and positioning to promote the university to potential students. Design assets include illustrations, concepts, graphics, layouts, and video for internal and external marketing campaigns, school and corporate collateral that will be executed across a variety of channels. Channels include campus locations, paid media, websites, social channels, mobile experiences, email, and landing pages. Will participate in the design and production process from inception to final delivery. Must be team-oriented, willing to wear different hats, and have a strong work ethic.

EDUCATION:

  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Art, or similarly related field or equivalent years of experience.

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum two years of related experience in a similar design related position with a marketing-driven company with similar size, complexity, and specific marketing sub-functions.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures with an understanding of art Graphic Design, copy, and layout.
  • Experience using Adobe Creative Suite design software, such as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Photoshop and perform a variety of creative tasks.
