Quality Engineer (Finance)
This role is the perfect role for you, if you enjoy working on various cross-functional teams with high-pressure and high-visibility making decisions and positive differences for the recipients of our products. This is a Quality Engineering position.
You will work closely with several departments (Product Development Engineering, Concurrent Engineering, and etc) who need Post-Market Quality Engineering support and data for manufacturing transfers. The support provided regarding product performance helps us make decisions about the product design and process. The QE helps establish measurement methods for product verification and monitors product performance providing data to support decisions regarding the safety and effectiveness of our products. You will conduct investigations based on post-market trends that will help drive design and use improvements. You will help drive and support internal process improvements that ensure Medtronic Spinal. There are many changes; design, process, supplier requested, and etc, that need to be reviewed to ensure they ensure compliance. You are in a critical role supporting transfers and changes that must be assessed for risks.
RTG
The Restorative Therapies Group develops life-restoring therapies and healthcare solutions that span the care continuum; integrating technologies and applying clinical and economic evidence to increase patient access, improve efficiency of procedures and deliver successful patient outcomes.
SPINE shapes spine surgery for the better; delivering procedural solutions and therapeutic biologics and partnering with other healthcare stakeholders to accelerate innovations that can improve surgical efficiencies and help create better outcomes for more patients.
A Day in the Life
§ Engage: Cross-Functional Collaboration with Product Development Engineering, Concurrent Engineering, Regulatory and other departments to ensure product performance is constantly improved
§ Innovate: Develop and improve current processes and systems to ensure they are effective and efficient
§ Shape: Investigate product performance in efforts to drive product and process improvements
§ Achieve: Implement and document changes where appropriate to ensure the gains are maintained

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science or technical field with 2+ years of work experience in Engineering and/or Quality
OR Master's Degree Engineering, Science or technical field with 0+ years of work experience in Engineering and/or Quality.
