The Technical Writer will be responsible for creating documentation that clarifies the product's features and maintenance and ensuring the necessary information has been included for users to operate MicroPoise machines effectively.
Additional Responsibilities:
Writing MicroPoise operation and maintenance manuals for high-machine performance
Writing marketing documentation as required by Product Management
Required Skills:
Proven technical writing skills to create and/or update product manuals, product specifications, and marketing communication material
Experience with standards applicable to mechanical/electrical industries such as UL, CE, ANSI, and CSA international standards
Ability to understand complex technical concepts and summarize them in concise terms for practical application
Familiar with mechanical and electrical drawings, product specifications, and engineering concepts
Strong mechanical and electrical background
Strong computer skills, including graphics/images: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Frame Maker experience is a plus.
Good attention to detail to ensure error-free document creation
Good interpersonal skills to interact with engineers and plant technicians to get support to develop technical documents with a professional look.
Passionate about developing good quality documents.
