The Liquidity Management team sits within Product and manages a panoply of on-balance sheet and off-balance sheet client solutions. Liquidity products are designed for SVB clients initiating/deepening a deposit relationship with SVB as well as those deploying newly raised funding from the private and public markets into market-based investment vehicles. Overall, the Liquidity Management team has product responsibility for $80B in deposits and $125B in off-balance sheet client investments (Money Fund sweep, Repo, Asset Management).
Middle Office is an essential function within Liquidity Management focused on off-balance sheet client investments. The team is responsible for customer information, positions, and trading activity and the alignment of this information between Liquidity Management platforms (e.g. Bloomberg AIM, Sharepoint, MLO), Commercial Bank systems (e.g. EDW, CBS, PSGL), and Vendors/Suppliers (e.g. USB Custody, ClearWater)
The Middle Office Specialist II will be responsible for the account enablement, account maintenance, data reconciliation, fee calculation & maintenance, & trade settlement for Cash Sweep, SVB Repo, and SVB Asset Management. In addition, he/she will assist the other Middle Office team members in completing other tasks as necessary. The position is responsible for the adherence to regulatory compliance and manages processes to ensure passing audit score on any internal or external audits.

The employee must have the ability to use a computer keyboard, mouse, calculator, copier/fax machine, scanner and telephone. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. Employee must have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: reviewing and analyzing information; transcribing; and/or viewing a computer screen. Employee may be required to make quick decisions as to when to escalate or directly address a situation, as well as handle the stress of such situations. The work environment is indoors with a majority of time spent sitting at a desk.
