Operations Research Systems Analyst - Directed Energy (Government)

SPECIFIC JOB DESCRIPTION:
ANSER is seeking qualified personnel to provide JT&E operations research and systems analysis (ORSA) support for a 2 year JT. The Joint Integrated Fire Control – Directed Energy for Air Defense (JIFC-DAD) JT will address the concepts of employment (CONEMP) and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) used by joint forces to integrate directed energy weapon systems into Area Air Defense Plans.
Candidate will successfully accomplish QRT objectives per the Test Directive and associated guidance, ANSER ORSA will apply operations research skill sets to rapidly support test plan development and use proven methodologies to provide quantitative analytic results.
Operations Research & Statistical Analysis (ORSA) Personnel will:
Work with Test Planners and Test Lead to develop and coordinate the test plan
Formulate problems and design research and study methods
Conduct and supervise qualitative and quantitative analyses of complex military and related problems
Apply objective, analytical, and orderly thinking to the analysis of complex operational and management problems, and support this analysis when appropriate with the use of ORSA tools and techniques such as statistical inference, network analysis, models, mathematical programming, and simulations
Summarize and synthesize complex analyses into simplified terms and present results to decision makers
Plan, evaluate, coordinate, and integrate ORSA actions with other staff elements and functions
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:
Successful candidates will provide support in development of Tactics, Techniques & Procedures for the JIFC-DAD JT by applying expertise in one or more of these subjects:
Operations Research Systems Analysis
Directed energy weapons system program experience (e.g. high energy laser)
Army, USMC, Navy Air and Missile Defense
USAF Air Defense operations
EDUCATION & YEARS OF EXPERIENCE:
Current Top Secret security clearance, or expiration of clearance within the past 2 years
Previous experience as member of a Joint Test team either as a military, civilian, or contractor highly desired
Strong interpersonal/social skills; proven staff officer/contractor support excellence.Exceptional written, and verbal communication skills
Experience in staffing, communication, and coordination efforts across commands, services, and Joint Staff
Advanced degree plus at least 2 years of operations research and/or statistical analysis experience; or bachelor's degree plus at least 5 years of operations research and/or statistical analysis experience
Location: Nellis AFB, NV
