The product leader at the center is a creative entrepreneur who can best understand what government customers need and what they are willing to purchase. While your products will often be sold off the shelf, they are also going to be customized for specific customer needs. Re-usability and total cost of ownership are important factors.
On a day to day basis, you will be evaluating the market, understanding customers, communicating information about new products and existing product changes with Sales. You will monitor the product development progress (quality, timeliness, budget) on each of the initiatives that you have set in motion.
On a quarterly basis, you will establish a return on investment case for each of your portfolio initiative ideas. That ROI will be backed up by tested hypotheses that reduce the risk of the initiative.
We contract subject matter experts to support course development and maintenance projects. It is important that you have Federal Grants subject matter expertise so that you can direct the contracted SME's and the Instructional Designers towards output with the right market fit.
The position reports to the VP, Strategy & Product Innovation and you will have a set of peers each responsible for a different topic portfolio
