Quality Assurance Specialist (Biotech)

The QA Specialist will assist the team with tasks related to ensuring the accuracy of data for our menu entries, report reviews, and processes to meet established quality standards.

 

What You'll be Doing 

  • Maintain relationships with assigned Operating Company contacts
  • Coordinate input and processing of assigned regional and custom menus
  • Maintain our IMPACWeb and NetRecipe accounts of assigned partners and facilities
  • Perform quality assurance of menus and reports assuring they meet all established standards
  • Provide feedback to team members with results of quality assurance process with updates required before delivery to client
  • Keep current on all established standards including operating company-specific menu planning needs and report specifications
  • Complete all phases of report generation with assigned operating companies
  • Participate in bi-annual QA review of  menus
  • Load and ship menus for assigned customers

 

What You'll Bring to the Table 

  • Associate Degree preferred
  • Relevant work experience if degree is not held desired
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft software including Word and Outlook
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize effectively
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment
  • Ability to adapt to change and learn quickly
  • Ability to work well under deadline pressure
  • Highly dependable
  • Strong communication skills including active listening and questioning
  • General food service or nutrition knowledge preferred
