The Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation wishes to appoint an Operations Administrator for the Rehab Neural Engineering Laboratory within the department which conducts both human subject and animal based research. The Operations Administrator will be responsible for handling all financial and administrative functions of the Lab including developing budgets, financial forecasting, managing award funding, onboarding of new staff, and space planning. Will manage patient invoicing to assure appropriate charging of study related procedures and complete monthly, quarterly, and interim financial reports for study sponsors. This position will directly supervise other administrative staff within the group and be responsible for review and approval of fiscal and compliance related documents and special requests prepared by subordinates. Will prepare projections for making employment and spending based project decisions and work with faculty to assess program needs and communicate those needs to department administration. Will be expected to have a good understanding of departmental policies and procedures, make recommendations for improvements to increase efficiency and implement approved changes. Will also assist Department Finance Director with various grant and financial summary reports and special projects as needed. Eligible candidate must have a bachelors degree and 2-3 years prior financial and/or research operations experience. Prior supervisory experience and strong financial management skills are preferred. Must demonstrate exceptional professionalism, communication, and organizational skills.2-3 yrs experience in a professional and/or administrative position. Prior supervisory and financial experience preferred. Must be detail oriented with excellent organizational and communication skills.
