As a Category Analyst , you will aid the Menards account located at the Menards Eau Claire, WI headquarters. In this role, you work extensively with point-of-sale data, inventory, and forecasting systems to support the Account Team operations. This position mainly focuses on pulling, coordinating, and analyzing data to generate business reports. Key Responsibilities
Analyze and generate weekly tracking and productivity reports on sales data while serving as the primary contact for data and analysis support for all requested Menards reports.
Serve as the central contact point for data support for line reviews and generating content to further develop the continuation and expansion of sales programs.
Assess efficiency of existing programs and recommend possible changes.
Build long term customer relationships while connecting with teams cross functionally to meet needs.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree with 2+years of proven experience in Business or equivalent; retail experience in a home center channel preferred.
Sophisticated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite highly encouraged.
Prior experience working with business data analytics with a strong understanding of correlation and causality is an asset.
