Client Service Associate - Fixed Income Services (Finance)
Piper Jaffray is seeking a Client Service Associate to join our fixed income services team in Minneapolis.
Responsibilities:
Work with fixed income team to provide sales administrative support to our internal and external partners
Provide a high level of customer service by responding to telephone and email inquiries, requests and problems
Perform a variety of tasks from simple to complex transactions or processes that require knowledge of fixed income products and services
Work closely with sales representatives and registered sales assistants to coordinate setting up sub accounts, allocating trades, processing a variety of account maintenance requests, asset movements and solve operational/settlement differences
Serve as backup to sales representatives for allocations when registered sales assistants are out
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
1 - 2 years of industry experience preferred
Strong Bloomberg and PC skills, particularly Microsoft Excel
Knowledge of Cmore, Commissions, CRM/Sales Force, I-Deal/Ipreo, NetX360 Pershing, Oasys/Alert and MS Office Suite preferred
Prioritization and the ability to handle multiple tasks, high volume workload and meet tight deadlines is required
Attention to detail and accuracy required
Commitment to quality customer service
Bachelor's degree in business preferred
Series 7 and 63 licenses required, or willingness to obtain
