Senior Specialist, Human Resources - Bilingual (Finance)

As the Senior Specialist, Human Resources (HR), you will assist with implementing various human resources programs and procedures for all employees in the areas of staffing, benefits, payroll administration and employee relations. What you'll do on a typical day:

  • Act as a liaison for service center management, leave of absence administrator and employees; facilitate appropriate tracking and communication of employee status
  • Assist with resolving open escalated cases related to benefits or HR; process status changes
  • Answer questions from employees related to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refer more complex questions to appropriate senior-level HR staff or management
  • Perform audits of missed punches and other anomalies within Kronos to ensure accurate payroll and reduce risk for the company
  • Assist with the implementation and administration of services, policies and programs aimed at maintaining a safe, positive environment
  • Complete periodic audits of employee information, including employment, compensation, certification and status-change data
  • Advise business partners on policies and operating practices
  • Ensure compliance, training and oversight on policies and procedures

What you need to succeed at XPO:

At a minimum, you'll need:

  • 2 years of experience supporting human resources
  • Experience with Microsoft Office
  • Bilingual English/Spanish

It'd be great if you also have:
  • Associate degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • PHR/SHRM certification
  • Experience with Kronos or other time and attendance systems
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems
  • Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential and professional manner
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills; ability to establish and maintain effective, collaborative work relationships both internally and externally
