Product Researcher (Finance)

We are currently looking for a Product Researcher to join the Consumer and Marketplace Insights team. This position can be fully remote or based in Richmond, VA
In this role, you will:
• Lead consumer research to build whitespace opportunities and support the development of smoke-free tobacco products in line with Altria's 10-year vision.
• Analyze consumer trends and data to build long-range views of adult tobacco consumer desires and requirements.
• Collaborate and coordinate study development, execution and deliverables with colleagues, vendors and client teams.
• Establish cross-functional partnerships with product development and marketing to clearly define research objectives and deliverables.
• Prepare, synthesize and deliver insights to key client groups.
• Prioritize projects in a rapidly changing environment.
• Recommend and test new methodologies.
• Coordinate and manage project budgets.
We want you to have:
• Bachelor's degree in a related field plus a minimum of 5+ years of relevant experience.
• High degree of curiosity, critical and strategic thinking skills.
• Experience with both quantitative and qualitative primary research methods is a plus.
• Ability to work in a rapidly changing and dynamic environment
• Experience with product development, product design or sensory product research a plus.
• Experience with supplier relationship management.
• High degree of creativity to find and try new solutions.
• Ability to problem solve and to tell a clear story.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as the ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to translate analytical results to business implications.
• Client management and consultative skills, and the courage and confidence to debate.
