The Senior Communications Manager is responsible for driving robust internal communications strategy and tactics to achieve leadership objectives, advance the company's culture, and foster employee engagement for Galderma North America. This position supports a regular communications cadence, including events on behalf of the Leadership Team in order to amplify business strategy and goals; clarify how employees fit into overall strategy; advance synthesis of strategy across the company; promote positive company image; inspire loyalty among employees; and cultivate the company culture. This position leads internal communications to ensure consistent and effective communications across the North American Market, prioritizing U.S. communications for office-based and field-based employees.
Communicate corporate narrative in an approachable way that effectively translates business direction and values into messages and communication tactics that are meaningful and engaging for staff at all levels. Act as a point of guidance and expert advisor across the company on internal communications activities.
Oversee corporate digital communications projects and platforms, to include www.galderma.com/us and other digital medium including corporate internet. Support corporate branding activities, including signage, logo usage, corporate campaign, etc.
Plan, write, edit and deliver internal communications aligned to the corporate narrative, company values and business objectives. Write communications, ensuring a high level of editorial review, consistency and quality across all internal communications. Able to write executive level communications to support business leaders with speed and accuracy.
Social media experience, especially for corporate executives and corporate communications, is preferred.
Create integrated internal communications plan and manage master calendar with a cross-functional approach to ensure relevance and consistency with business strategy and goals. Work with cross-functional teams as needed to develop and execute the internal communications plan.
Collaborate with the Business Units to amplify franchise and brand plans with inclusion in master communications calendar, and promotion of key events and milestones across the employee base.
Oversee PRC/Zinc review and approval of internal communication projects.
Deploy communications utilizing a variety of tools (videos, blogs, webcasts, news stories, etc.) to ensure key constituencies across the Home Office and Field Sales are informed about and engaged with the company.
Contribute to all-company events (Town Halls, Exceptional Town Halls, Corporate Visits and Special Events) as well as plenary sessions where Leadership Team is featured (Field Sales Events, National Sales Meeting) to ensure alignment with company strategy, corporate narrative and employee engagement. Ensure feedback loop through use of post-event surveys, pulse surveys, interviews and consistent interaction with constituents.
Provide logistical support for all-company events to include securing the conference/training room, setting up the room, and ensuring audio/visual is properly supported and functioning as intended.
Act as an ambassador for North America to ensure robust share of voice for North America among Global Communications through promotion of achievements and milestones via corporate intranet and other communications channels.

Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or Business is required.
8 years of experience required at a corporation or consultancy with expertise in corporate, product, executive or international communications.
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry, consumer products or highly-regulated environments highly preferred.
Experience managing promotional review of content highly preferred.
Working experience with specialized communications technology including content management systems and social media preferred.
Advanced writing and editing skills with the ability to translate complex business or brand ideas into clear and concise messages that are easy to understand, align to corporate strategy and inspire increased employee engagement.
Ability to articulate, and persuade, and respond effectively to common inquiries or complaints from the media, customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the medical or research community.
Ability to write speeches and articles for publication that conform to prescribed style and format.
Ability to effectively present information to senior leadership.
Deep business acumen, a solid understanding of public relations, marketing and communications.
Demonstrated track record of delivering high impact results.
Demonstrates high personal integrity, teamwork abilities, and customer focus.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work outside of the normal business schedule is required. Ability to adjust schedule as needed according to business priorities and requests.
