Qualified Intellectual Disabilities Prof (Personal Services)
The Qualified Intellectual Disability Professional reports to the Program Director, DC-IDD and is responsible for the-to-day operation and customer service of the residential homes. This includes supervising and training the Residential Coordinator, maintaining house/program budget, scheduling staff in a manner which limits overtime, working shifts as needed (to meet ratio needs), and maintaining a safe and orderly program in accordance with the Scope of Work and with Volunteers of America Chesapeake and Carolina's policies and procedures.
As a member of the management team, you are ultimately responsible for the development, coordination, and monitoring of all aspects of our people's lives in your assigned caseload. Responsibilities include service coordination for all aspects of life on a twenty-four (24) hour, seven (7) days a week basis as well as being on-call through cell phones. As a QIDP, you are the delegated authority and have the responsibility and accountability to carry out all assigned duties.
