Position Summary: Facilities Engineer To support the Company's productivity, earnings, and customer satisfaction goals by ensuring the production equipment and facilities are systematically maintained and operate efficiently.
Duties:
Supports and manages the capital projects, including design and implementation
Maintains the Microgrid Asset Management Agreement and any required preventative maintenance provisions
Provides technical and design assistance to the Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager and Environmental Health and Safety Function
Interacts with production personnel and leaders to understand their requirements and remedy problems
Ability to develop 3D modeling, with the utilization of software (Solidworks, AutoCad, Inventor)
Manages any planned facility shutdowns to ensure reliable operation and restart of major electrical equipment
Assists the EHS function during government regulatory inspection.
Works with insurance carriers to facilitate risk management and reduce exposure to loss
Communicates with utility companies to ensure reliable supplies of electricity, natural gas, and water
Issues purchase orders and coordinates payment of vendors for capital projects and major equipment repairs
Responsible for adherence to all safety polices, practices and procedures

Qualifications:
Education: BS - Civil, Mechanical, Industrial or Electrical Engineering
Experience: Five to Eight (5-8) years of experience in a manufacturing or maintenance setting is desired. Experience working in a foundry, metal casting, and/or vacuum processing environment is a plus. EHS background a plus.
Certifications/Licenses: None required; PE license a plus.
Other Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Experience with capital projects including: budgeting, purchasing, and procurement of vendors. Must be highly organized and detail focused with technical background in manufacturing processes, and be able to communicate well with all levels of the organization. Ability to make CADD drawings and layouts a plus.
