Safety Technician (Biotech)

The Safety Technician monitors the project site to ensure construction project safety. The Safety Technician is a salaried position at an industry-leading construction company.
Responsibilities:
Analyzing the safety performance of work performedUnderstanding laws and regulations pertaining to OSHAConducting job inspections of construction areasIdentifying, documenting and recommending resolution of hazardous and potentially hazardous conditionsConfirming corrections have been made to hazardous and potentially hazardous conditionsInvestigating property damage and personal injury accidentsAssisting in conducting employee and insurance inspectionsAssisting in emergency rescues as requiredAssisting in maintaining fire protection and grounding systemsCompiling data, photographs, pertinent forms and reports, as well as conducting employee interviews associated with accidentsConducting industrial hygiene samples to ensure safe working conditionsOther duties as assigned
