The Senior Inventory Accountant Analyst ensures the financial statements of BMW Group subsidiaries are prepared in accordance with the applicable reporting principles (IFRS) and eGAAP providing shareholders with a true and fair view of the assets, liabilities, financial position and profit of the corresponding reporting companies.
Key Responsibilities:
Reconciliation and financial analysis of parts inventory
Ensure the proper valuation of inventory
Ensure that cost of sales recognition is appropriate and accurately matched with related revenues
Continental Distribution Center project lead for Finance US for Accounting and other initiatives
Prepare and submit monthly parts and other related inventory reporting to our business partners
Aid in the resolution of issues encountered with inventory systems and interfaces
Assist with projects related to team enhancements of data and reporting
Create efficiencies through robotics of manual processes
Implement new internal controls deemed necessary

Bachelor's Degree with a Major in Accounting or equivalent
5+ years of experience in Accounting
Must possess advanced knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards
