Encore- Senior Mainframe Strategy Advisor (Finance)



We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic professional to join our Mainframe Engineering team as a Senior Mainframe Strategy Advisor . This role will support the organization by leading special projects, advising senior leadership on strategic direction, and contributing to the long-term success of our mainframe initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Partner with the Mainframe Engineering team to lead and execute high-impact special projects.
  • Provide strategic counsel to senior leadership on positioning, planning, and execution of mainframe-related initiatives.
  • Analyze complex technical and business challenges to recommend innovative and practical solutions.
  • Serve as a thought leader within the mainframe space, staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure alignment of mainframe strategies with broader organizational goals.
  • Balance multiple priorities and initiatives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Qualifications:
  • 15+ years of experience in technology, with a strong background in mainframe systems and enterprise IT environments.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technology-related field or equivalent professional experience.
  • Proven track record of influential leadership and strategic advisory roles.
  • Deep technical expertise in mainframe technologies and infrastructure.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.

Former/retired senior Cigna Group Mainframe Engineering team member with extensive experience in Strategic Mainframe Engineering.

If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
