Employee Health Registered Nurse (RN) (Finance)
Heritage Ministries is in growth mode and currently seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Employee Health team! The Employee Health Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for overseeing the Heritage Employee Health Program to ensure compliance with New York State Department of Health requirements and maintaining employee health records with accordance to state requirements. Responsibilities:
Ensures compliance with New York State Department of Health regulations.
Supports and promotes the nursing department functions by following established policies and procedures.Is knowledgeable and responds appropriately to nursing/facility emergencies according to established policies and procedures.
Organizes, schedules, and conducts regular clinics to be sure all employees are up to date with Employee Health requirements including but not limited to immunizations, shots, ppd, etc. Performs new hire physicals during each general orientation program or schedules another RN as a back up as needed. Responsible for providing education and giving flu shots to all employees interested. Must ensure that all paperwork is filled out completely, including annual physical, new hire physicals, and all other immunizations offered. Maintains electronic employee health records that are secure and separate from Human Resources files. Reports on all Employee Health requirements as needed, such as but not limited to, the DOH report for flu shots. Consults with NPs regarding disease management or any chronically ill employee gets the proper care needed. Notifies Human Resources of new hires that are not up to date with the employee health

Qualifications:
Licensed as a Registered Nurse in good standing in New York State. Maintenance of license requirements required. BSN Preferred. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse required.
