Roadhouse Barback/Bartender Support (Finance)

We practice social distancing of a minimum of 6 feet from each other, including workspaces and guest seating.

Follows Roadhouse table maintenance systems: marking, pre-bussing, setting, etc.
Follows the staff member guidelines
Participates in weekly specials presentations/tastings
Essential Functions
Stocking and maintaining inventory behind the bar
Ensuring necessary ice bins are full
Glassware is fully stocked and polished
Fruit and other garnishes are fully stocked, fresh and rotated according to FIFO and proper labeling
Plates, silverware, napkins, and menus behind the bar
Adhering to proper cleaning procedures and organization during shift
Ensuring the countertop is clean and always wiped down
Putting any bottles or miscellaneous items away that may have gotten left out: keeping that area always clean and presentable
Washing dirty equipment or glassware, and putting it away so we are always stocked
Empty bus tubs, pre-bus bar guests, and prevent any clutter
Providing support to the bartenders
Asking the team what you can do for them
Refilling guests waters, soda, or coffee at the bar
Assist service bar, if needed, in pouring draft beer or wine
Be proactive and engaged in service to grab anything the guest might need: additional napkin, soup spoon, mussel bowl, or condiments
Assisting in closing duties such as:
Taking out trash and recycling
Assist in restocking wine and beer
Empty all remaining bus tubs behind the bar
Take back any mats that need to be
Empty and refill the 3 compartment sink
Leave a clean workspace
Able to assist guests with order selection by providing knowledgeable and accurate information about all menu items
Actively engages to learn how to pair the menu items with wines and beers
Follows Roadhouse systems for wine service
Prepares beverages - coffee, soft drinks, water
Keeps updated on specials and menu updates (including 86 lists)
Follows our system for collecting/communicating/connecting "the dots" about our guests
Resolves customer complaints and makes it right for the customer
Communicates customer compliments, complaints and suggestions. Follows the training compact and takes responsibility for his or her training. Follows the three steps to great service and the five steps to handling a customer complaint
Seeks manager/supervisor assistance with guests when appropriate
Non-Essential Functions:
Attends and participates in weekly huddles and/or is responsible for knowing Roadhouse key measures and numbers.
Documents customer compliments, complaints and suggestions.

Can work long shifts that require standing/walking/bending/lifting throughout shift

Serves food and beverages carrying large, heavy trays
Sets up and tears down events including tables, chairs, place settings, linens, buffets
Stocks and replenishes food stations/buffet tables
Assists bartenders as needed, including serving beer and wine on occasion
Busses tables and works to keep guest spaces clean and tidy
Physical Demands:
Must be able to move and position self around the bar, the kitchen, and the basement.
Bending, stooping, and being positioned upright for long periods at a time
Must be able to safely lift up to 50 lbs (including up and down stairs)
Must be able to balance and relocate a tray with drinks and/or dishes
Ascends/Descends between the basement and main floor
