This position is primarily responsible for providing support of financial activities in the research office of an academic department. Incumbent will serve as a contact for a variety of post-award activities that support he department's sponsored research programs, including procurement of supplies, posting and reconciling expenditures, assist with monthly reporting, and tracking research data. Incumbent will work with a team of departmental research administrators, under the direction of the Director of Research Administration and Finance. Duties will include maintenance of databases, the accounting module of Department Manager, spreadsheets, providing analytical and statistical information on grant support and participating in other special projects as needed.Bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or equivalent combination of education and accounting experience.
