Registrar/ Administrative Assistant/ Carondelet Park/ Full Time (Project Management)
POSITION SUMMARY:
This position supports the work of the Y, a leading nonprofit committed to strengthening community through youth development, healthy living and social responsibility. The incumbent is responsible for the clerical, computer entry, record keeping, and other administrative duties in accordance with the Branch and Association Policy. The incumbent will focus directly on communicating with participants in accordance with the YMCA mission through programs and interactions that instill the values of caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility. The Gateway Region YMCA strictly follows a zero tolerance policy regarding child abuse.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
1. Provide quality member service to the membership/program participants. 2. Responsible for enrolling all participants into Y-Club and camp 3. Responsible for maintaining and updating enrollment status of all participants in the Y-Club/Camp programs. 4. Responsible for communicating effectively with Site Directors regarding new enrollments and accounts receivable. 5. Must be comfortable to call account holders and notify them of balances due and organize a suitable repayment option in accordance with YMCA policies. 6. Must be able to effectively communicate all policies and procedures to current and future participants. 7. Must be able to handle large call volumes throughout every day from parents and staff members. 8. Responsible for creating all paperwork for record keeping at each school site. 9. Put together parent packets and communicate with parent on how to pick them up at the beginning of each school year. 10. Responsible for the clerical, computer entry, record keeping and other administrative duties in accordance with the branch and association policies. 11. Serve as a member of the Child Care/Camp Department staff. 12. Responsible for providing quality member service, retention and satisfaction. 13. Ensure zero tolerance for abuse and actively participate in the protection of youth and teens. 14. Performs all other duties as assigned.
