Purpose
~ The Sr. Associate, Fixed Operations is a field based primary Dealer contact, management support and tactical implementation role. Assists the Region Parts and Service Department with addressing the current condition of Buysells and high Dealer personnel turnover. Key job functions include Parts and Service Departments set up / orientation for new Dealers and new Service and Parts personnel. Assists with DMS integration and program logins and activations to ensure that the Dealers daily operating needs are met in a timely manner. Assesses immediate training needs and assist with enrolling Dealer personnel into classes. Acts as the regional subject matter expert for topical areas pertaining to Hyundai Policies and procedures.
Major Responsibilities
~ Assist the Region Parts and Service team with equipping new Open Point Dealers, Buysell Dealers and new Dealer Parts and Service personnel with the setup of DMS related initiatives and Hyundai programs logins and activations.
~ Develop an orientation for new Dealers / new Parts and Service personnel.
~ Develop job related standardized reports for use by Regional Management and District Parts and Service Managers.
~ Assist in advancing the skill sets and understanding associated with dealership Fixed Operations profitability through the use of existing HMA financial analysis tools and industry guides as needed.
~ Assist in the implementation of training classes and support materials to advance the skills and knowledge of dealership personnel.
~ Substitute as DPSM on an as needed basis during situations where the DPSM is out for an extended period of time.

~ Must be a high school graduate
~ Bachelor's Degree preferred
Related Experience
~ Four to five years of experience preferably in the automotive retail/wholesale industry.
Skill/Knowledge
~ Strong written and oral communication skills, competent PC user, proficient in the use of Windows based software applications including Microsoft Excel, Word and Power Point.
~ Excellent communication skills.
~ Excellent organizational skills. Able to apply the methods used to control multiple projects including documentation, prioritizing, tracking, follow-up and follow-through.
