Technical ConsultantSummary of PositionThe Sr Technical Consultant is responsible for executing specific technical tasks serving as technical support interfacing directly with clients and assisting to create standardization of technology methodologies approaches and deliverablesDuties ResponsibilitiesWriting functional requirements for systems implementations and system test scriptsPerform quality reviews to ensure requirements are documented properlyDesign Development and Implementation of ServiceNow customization including but not limited to core setup workflow administration reporting data imports LDAP integration custom scripting ebonding and third party software integrationsPerform advanced customizations including Business Rules UI Pages UI Macros UI Scripts Script Includes Client Scripts workflows custom tables reports etcParticipate in regular peer code reviews to ensure highquality and low defect outcomes Provide suggestions and alternatives to technical challenges to meet business solutionsAdvise clients on best practice process and development approachesInnovate and identify solutions that can be reused on future engagements Knowledge SkillsCertified System Administrator from ServiceNowAdditional ServiceNow certifications are welcomeExcellent analytical and problem solving skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong presentation development and Customer Presentation skillsSuccessful teamwork experience demonstrated leadership abilitiesStrong familiarity with Service Desk Operations and ProcessesEducation Work ExperienceMinimum of 5 8 years of ServiceNow design and development experienceExperience developing ServiceNow applications from business requirements andor technical design documentsUnderstanding of module Best Practices and ability to communicate with client on recommended modificationsProgramming expertise in Java JavaScript or other functional programming languagesThorough understanding of SecOps CMDB implementation methodologies Asset Management and integration best practiceThorough analytical and troubleshooting knowledge and experienceDemonstrated and through understanding of ITIL practices for Service Asset and Configuration ManagementUnderstanding of Service Blueprints Service Definitions and Service Modeling Demonstrated and through understanding of normalization and reconciliation processes and configurationsExpertise in automated testing framework ATFDemonstrated experience with ServiceNow Import Sets and Transform MapsExperience with user acceptance testing UAT including test script creation ex
