NP/PA - Inpatient Neurosurgery General, Intermediate Care, and Acute Care - 100%FTE, Evening/Night - University Hospital (Healthcare)
As an Advanced Practice Provider, you'll play an integral role in our inpatient and ambulatory care teams by providing high-quality, cost-effective care to patients.
We are seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to:
Education:
Minimum –
If Nurse Practitioner:
Master's or Doctorate's degree from accredited Nursing Program.
If Physician Assistant:
Bachelor's or Master's degree from accredited PA Program.
Work Experience:
Preferred - Two years of relevant clinical experience dealing with patients with neurological conditions preferred.
Licenses and Certifications:
Minimum – State of Wisconsin NP or PA licensure
If Nurse Practitioner*:
If Physician Assistant*:
All Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistant applicants must have*: Active DEA license or ability to apply for such license prior to or upon hire.
*Active license or eligibility to obtain active licensure in state of practice. This may include licensing in Wisconsin and other state(s) of practice.
Physical Requirements:
Light: Ability to lift up to 20 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying of objects weighing up to 10 pounds.

Work Schedule:
100% FTE, Evening/Night Position Monday – Friday with a weekend rotation. Core hours between 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Flexibility in hours is expected to accomplish the responsibilities of the position. Days of the week will be based on needs of the department.
