Maintenance Supervisor

Location: All GLC Properties

Position Summary — Overseeing daily maintenance operations and supervising the maintenance team to ensure the timely

and quality completion of work orders, preventive maintenance, and special projects. This position acts as the lead

between frontline Maintenance Technicians and the Facilities Manager, helping coordinate workload, ensure policy

adherence, and uphold facility standards across all GLC properties including lodge and marina.

Essential Functions — An individual in this role must be able to perform the following functions with or without reasonable

accommodation.

· Work alongside Maintenance Technicians while providing guidance, training, and daily direction.

· Assign and prioritize work orders while participating in repairs, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance

· Set the tone for safety, quality, and professionalism by leading through example

· Perform and oversee routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on building systems including HVAC,

plumbing, electrical, and lighting

· Respond to maintenance requests promptly, troubleshooting issues and ensuring lasting repairs

· Use and manage the maintenance tracking system to log, track, and close work orders

· Maintain work areas, tools, and equipment in clean, safe, and service-ready condition

· Assist in planning and executing small projects, remodels, and renovations

· Coordinate with outside contractors for specialized work, inspecting completed work for quality

· Maintain courteous, professional interactions with guests and employees

· Ensure that all work is performed with minimal disruption to casino operations

Qualifications

· Minimum 3 years of experience in building, facilities, or property maintenance.

· At least 1 year in a lead, crew leader, or supervisory role preferred.

· Experience in hospitality, casino, or commercial property environments is a plus.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

· Proficient in troubleshooting and repairing building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, and general

carpentry.

· Able to operate and maintain hand tools, power tools, and specialized maintenance equipment.

· Familiar with preventive maintenance programs and digital work order systems

· Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

· Capable of training, guiding, and motivating a small team while working side-by-side on tasks.

· Strong interpersonal skills for working with team members, contractors, and other departments.

· Comfortable giving and receiving constructive feedback.

Other Requirements — Required to obtain and maintain a Seneca Cayuga tribal gaming license and a state issued I.D. All

applicants must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screening prior to beginning employment. Must be at least 18

years of age.

Physical Requirements — Possess the physical stamina and capability to perform various tasks, including lifting heavy

objects (up to 50 lbs.), standing for extended periods, and engaging in physically demanding activities to ensure the

effective upkeep of the facility. Must be able to reach, push and pull with hands and arms, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel,

and crouch.

Work Environment — Grand Lake Casino is a drug and alcohol-free workplace; Must be able to work in a casino

environment which includes high levels of smoke, dust, and noise.

Special Working Conditions — Working conditions include maintaining both interior and exterior areas of the Casino, necessitating adaptability to outdoor working conditions, including exposure to varying weather elements, as part of the comprehensive efforts to ensure the facility's overall upkeep.
