Schaeffler, a dynamic global automotive and industrial supplier, is seeking an Account Executive at our State of the Art North American Automotive Center located in Troy, MI. This position is responsible for new business acquisition, ensuring timely quote generation, submission, presentation and follow-up to protect and generate new revenue.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:
Managing the RFQ process and ensure all customer requirements/documents are accurately completed in a timely manner
Perform costing and margin analysis and develop pricing strategies
Presenting financial information to management and/or customer
Prepare and present cost breakdowns to the customers
Observe and communicate competitor and/or customer strategies
Qualified candidates will have:
Bachelor's degree with a technical background (e.g. mechanical/electrical engineering, business administration and engineering)
Highly developed understanding of business processes
Solid experience in sales, key accounts or program management, with experience in the automotive or supply industries
Customer facing experience
Experience working in a multi-national team
Strong business entrepreneurial skills
Willingness to travel
