GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Healthcare Data Analyst will join Thundermist's dynamic Health Informatics Team (HIT), primarily assisting with aspects of data reporting and analysis, including summarizing, documenting, validating, and creating charts. Additionally, this position assists with patient tracking and other fulfillment activities for pay for performance population management initiatives. The Healthcare Data Analyst also assists with the delivery of help desk support, ongoing troubleshooting, and problem resolution for the end users of the Electronic Health Record applications. Other duties include investigating and assisting with issue resolution across the organization by providing excellent customer service to both internal and external contacts, as well as resolving application related issues with a focus on data reporting and clinical quality improvement processes.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
PHYSICAL EFFORT/ENVIRONMENT
1. Manual dexterity needed for keyboard work, writing.
2. Ability to work and travel between multiple, non-traditional settings and/or locations required.
3. Physical mobility and ability to stand and sit for extended periods of time.
CONFIDENTIALITY OF INFORMATION
Knowledge of and compliance with HIPAA and proprietary information is required.
SIGNIFICANT JOB FUNCTIONS
1. Performing tasks related to data reporting, including summarizing, documenting, validating, and creating charts.
2. Monitoring reporting performance and troubleshooting as necessary in the eCW eBO Reporting Application.
3. Support Clinical Quality team by preparing meeting materials, and collecting and preparing data for use in presentations.
4. Support aspects of EHR applications including assisting with help desk triage.
5. Conduct preliminary investigation and document findings related to tickets or projects.
6. Participate in team efforts to collect, analyze and summarize metrics and continually improve processes owned by HIT.
7. Maintain ongoing understanding of EHR application and its use.
8. Assist with testing software upgrades.
9. Provide general support for the HIT department.
