Software Test Engineer (Finance)
Illumina is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer looking to join the fast-paced, highly visible Data Solutions team within the Product Development organization. This Engineer will contribute to the development of next-generation analysis applications and services being built on Illumina's Connected Analytics cloud-based platform. As a Software Test Engineer at Illumina, you will be part of an innovative, dynamic, and adaptive organization supporting new and on-market cloud-based products that streamline the generation, analysis, aggregation, and extraction of insights from data.
The position will require a comprehensive understanding of software test best practices and the software development life cycle. The candidate will be responsible for leading the test effort on the team's various data enablement applications and modules. Duties will include auditing requirements, writing test cases, automating test cases, test cycle planning, and execution. The perfect candidate will also have knowledge of genomics, multiomics, or experience in bioinformatics, allowing a deeper understating of the applications and analysis being developed. The candidate will be joining a multi-discipline team with a primary focus on test activates but will also mentor other team members on best practices and test procedures.
The candidate must be highly organized, have the ability to multitask, and have the drive to exceed expectations while meeting deadlines.
