Sous Chef - 192 Restaurant (Full-time, Year-round) (Food Services)
Job Overview:
Hands-on leadership in a high volume, high quality, open kitchen environment, with the ability to work all stations in the 192 kitchen. Proficiently creating excellent plating and bulk prep in a highly visible kitchen preparing food in front of our guests. Additionally responsible for specific duties and execution of 192 specific banquet events.
Ability to work independently with no supervision. Experience in food handling as well as basic prep and advanced knife skills. Understanding of proper use and maintenance of major kitchen equipment including stoves, refrigeration, slicer, knives, dish machine, etc. Good working knowledge of the fundamentals of cooking i.e., sauces, soups, stocks, and cooking procedures. Can handle, store and rotate food properly. Ability to be standing for long periods of time.
