Kitchen Inventory Clerk Cannabis (Finance)
Monitors and maintains current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; track orders and paperwork.
Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
Receives, unpacks and label products; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.
Processes invoices for payment.
Processes and documents return as required following established procedures.
May lead, guide and train employees performing related work.
Maintains standards of sanitation, kitchen hygiene, and food service techniques and safety.
Follows proper health department rules and regulations, HACCP, sanitation and safety procedures.
Operates and oversees use of equipment and kitchen appliances. Contacts management for repair service on equipment or kitchen maintenance.
Assists in coordinating, planning, and purchasing for the kitchen operations with production manager/s.
Records production, regulatory and operational data accurately, follows SOP's, formulas and guidelines, and gathers necessary supplies to provide consistency and quality.
Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Manage all menus for the assigned locations.
Add/remove the product from each of the menus (online platforms and in-store platforms) dependent on inventory stock.
Work seamlessly with other Marketing Specialists, Social Media Specialists, Email Marketing Specialists and Menu Specialists.
Update online platforms to help promote product sales.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS *
Knowledge of kitchen supplies, equipment, and/or services ordering and inventory control.
Must have and/or be willing to learn kitchen and manufacturing duties.
A passion or culinary helpful.
Candidate will be required to obtain a ServSafe food handlers' card prior to transferring/hire.
Working conditions and high temperatures are normal for a manufacturing environment.
Ability to lift products up to 50 pounds, standing/sitting for up to 10 hours per shift and exposure to peanuts, dairy, and other food allergens.
Loose fitting clothes, artificial nails, and jewelry are not permitted.
Dress code strictly enforced.
Ability to reconcile stock counts to report data.
Database and time management skills.
Ability to analyze and solve problems or research inventory losses.
Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork.
Ability to receive, stock, and/or deliver goods.
Clerical, word processing, and/or office skills.
Basic knowledge on computers, Excel and Word.
Trustworthy, Punctual with great written and verbal skills.
A high level of internal and external customer service.
Willingness to travel extended lengths when necessary, to work extended hours when required to fulfill company growth requirements, and to be flexible with schedule and availability.
Ability to manage high-stress situations and to be flexible and adaptable when a situation requires it.
Proper employment documentation and authorized to work in the US.
