Summary:
This position is responsible for professional development, sustaining and supporting of the training department. The main responsibility will be to develop and maintain training programs for the quality system in accordance with established procedures, standards, and guidance documentation. This position also requires the ability to create reports in support of other Quality Assurance systems. The QA Training Supervisor directs the activities of customer and/or employee training on company products. Plans course design and support documentation. Ensures training program(s) meets company and customer objectives. Maintains communication with customers to ensure effectiveness of training. Requires understanding of current product use and application. Coordinates the staffing and scheduling of in house and field training. May have responsibility for training functional organizations leaders. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. A detailed oriented person is essential for this position due to high volume. Knowledge of electronic documentation systems is essential as this person will be involved in the testing and improvement of the training system and supporting software. Must have the ability to apply acquired knowledge of GDP and GMP to daily tasks. The ability to use critical thinking and resolve issues are required.

This position assumes authority and accountability for the work performance and results of the training department team. This includes day-to-day tasks or assignments, appraising performance, addressing complaints and resolving work and training-related issues.
