Registered Nurse - Orthopedics, Full Time Days - 12 Hour Shifts

The brand new, state-of-the-art Wynn hospital is opening this year, and MVHS is seeking Registered Nurses to join our dynamic Orthopedics Department!

 

We need more nurses like you! MVHS is looking to add more nurses on our Orthopedic Department that have strong passion about caring for patients who are recovering from orthopedic or trauma surgery. Together, we are better.

 

Core Job Responsibilities

• Assess patients' conditions
• Record patients' medical histories and symptoms
• Administer patients' medicines and treatments
• Set up plans for patients' care or contribute information to existing plans
• Teach patients and their families how to manage illnesses or injuries
• Consult and collaborate with doctors and other healthcare professionals

Education/Experience Requirements

 

Required: Graduate of an accredited associate degree. 1 year of RN experience is required. Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing from accredited nursing program or higher degree.

 

Licensure/Certification Requirements

 

Required: Current New York State licensure as a Registered Nurse Preferred: Basic Life Support Certification

Due to the new New York Pay Transparency Law, the salary posted in the ad is based on years of experience. This varies based on experience, and any union/non-union positions may vary in this range.

Salary: $32.50 - $47.00 per hour
