Software QA Test Specialist I or II (Depending on Exp) (Information Technology)
Position Description:
As part of the Software Quality Assurance team, the Software Quality Assurance Test Specialist I executes manual test cases, performing functional, smoke (confidence) and regression testing prior to deployment to identify and report defects. Analyzes product requirements, identifies and authors test cases. Performs risk analysis to determine test case priority and focused testing efforts. The end result will enable Ent to more reliably and predictably deliver quality software to meet the objectives of the business. This resource will work primarily on agile teams with project managers, product owners, software developers and other test specialists.

Minimum formal education required for this position:
For Specialist I:
Knowledge consistent with a High School Diploma or equivalent
Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of “Knowledge Consistent with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2+ years' of accounting experience” could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a Master's Degree in Accounting and 0 years of work experience
For Specialist II:
Knowledge consistent with an Associate's Degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field
Each year of relevant work experience may be exchanged for a year in a relevant degree program or vice versa. For example, a requirement of “Knowledge Consistent with a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and 2+ years' of accounting experience” could be substituted for a High School Diploma and 6 years of relevant accounting work experience or a Master's Degree in Accounting and 0 years of work experience.
Minimum work experience:
For Specialist I:
2+ years' experience with banking software support or similar software
Technical experience with mobile devices
(Preferred) 1+ years' experience of software quality assurance testing
For Specialist II:
3+ years' experience of software quality assurance testing
(Preferred) experience in a credit union / banking environment
Technical or specialized knowledge/skills:

(Preferred) ASTQB/ISTQB Certified Tester or similar certification
Environmental, physical and psychological requirements:
Must be able to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time in a climate controlled environment. Must be able to use fingers, hands, wrists for repetitive tasks such as typing, using a mouse, handling paper, and operating a telephone. Demands for visual and auditory acuity are typical of an office environment. Must be able to interact via email, telephone, or in person with diplomacy, tact, and courtesy with all members under varying circumstances. Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
Starting Hourly Rate for Specialist I: $21.68, but could be more based on experience.
Starting Hourly Rate for Specialist II: $24.77, but could be more based on experience.
