Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add an Executive Assistant located in Columbia, SC.

Reporting to the General Manager, the Executive Assistant's role is responsible for a diverse range of duties and opportunities in the areas of administration, operations, project management and stakeholder management, in support of the Site General Manager.

What a typical day looks like:

  • Manage day-to-day schedules/priorities to optimize Site General Manager's time and to ensure meeting preparedness
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings (reservations, room bookings, etc.)
  • Assist with food orders, event planning, and other business-related on-site and off-site meetings/events
  • Manage email inbox, calendar and calls
  • Book domestic and international travel in alignment with the company's travel policy, considering travel Visas, process, costs, and proper documentation
  • Verifies and approves certain transactions on behalf of the GM
  • Ensure the timely submission of purchase orders, expense reports for the GM and direct reports
  • Other administrative and project duties as needed

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience as an Executive Assistant supporting VP/GM level executives (including travel, event coordination, meeting preparations, and customer interactions).
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong organizational skills, event coordination experience, and a customer service mindset.
  • Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiarity with the manufacturing business - a plus!
