Trailer and Fleet Service Professional (2nd Shift) (Transportation)

Position Summary:
An immediate position is available for a Trailer Technician in the Roanoke, Virginia Trailer Shop. Lawrence Companies is seeking a dedicated and motivated individual to join our Shop team. This is an hourly full time position, with overtime and weekend work required.
Essential Job Requirements
Perform preventative maintenance on trailers, including brake, tire, and wheel end repairRepairlighting and air system hoses and brake componentsEnsuresafe and proper tool usage, including maintenance of all equipment associated with the jobTrack repair order time to completionRecord all maintenance as requiredKeepworking area clean and organizedFollow written and oral instructions
Qualifications

HighSchool Diploma or Equivalent

Basiccomputer knowledge

Equipment Maintenance Experience

Basicelectrical knowledge and understanding of air systems

Welding knowledge is preferred

Mustbe dependable and customer service oriented

Good verbal communications & documentation skills preferred

Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs.

Must have valid Virginia Drivers License
