Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic (Engineering)

Plastipak Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanics repair and maintain plastic injection and extrusion machinery and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and other production machines.

Shift: Days 6:30am-3pm Mon-Fri

As a Manufacturing Maintenance Mecahnic you will:

• Perform maintenance for manufacturing equipment to assure uninterrupted & optimal operations

• Execute & continuously improve preventative maintenance procedures

• Participate in changeovers, ensuring efficient & correct execution

• Assure compliance with all safety protocols, quality standards, operational practices, & procedures

• Grow your knowledge and skills through a wide-variety of training & on-the-job experiences

To qualify to be a Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic, you'll need:

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent

• 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment

• Welding and fabrication experience strongly preferred

• Able to read and interpret technical & operational documents, including manuals, blueprints, and schematics

• Compressor experience perferred

• Able to provide own tools (wrenches, screw drivers, sockets, ratchet sets, etc)
