We are looking for an astute, determined professional like you to fill a Senior Associate role within the PGIM Real Estate Global Debt team. You will showcase your success through collaboration, ownership and innovation. Your expertise in emerging trends and practices will evoke stimulating discussions around optimization and change to help keep our competitive edge. You will help PGIM Real Estate's Global Debt platform develop and maintain best-in-class investment risk practices in the areas of financial modeling, data, and technology. You will report to Mark Henderson, Investment Risk Officer.
You will manage PGIM Real Estate's historical delinquency data for Core loans. This will include assembling and maintaining a database of historical loan losses, probability or default, loss given default, and yield degradation measures. You will design reports and dashboards that stratify delinquency data for use in reporting to portfolio managers, marketing to investors, and calibrating risk models.
You will assist in the administration of the PGIM Real Estate's proprietary loan rating model (QR Model). You will back-test the Model against PGIM Real Estate's Core loan delinquency history. You will collaborate in developing and testing updates to the Model. You will collaborate with IT and Surveillance teams to resolve model discrepancies between systems. You will also assist in responding to QR Model inquiries from investors and Enterprise Risk Management.
You will assist in the administration of any third-party credit models used with PGIM Real Estate's Core loans. This includes collaboration on enhancements, recalibrations, training and documentation around PGIM Real Estate's implementation of S&P's Scorecard and CECL models. You will evaluate other third-party credit models or risk assessment tools proposed for use with Core loans.
You will assist in the maintenance and administration of PGIM Real Estate's customized Excel template used to size and underwrite Core loans. This includes collaborating with IT to better integrate the template with other systems, interfacing with users to troubleshoot issues and discuss enhancements, and testing and reviewing template updates.
You will assist in other data and technology initiatives within Global Debt, such as helping to evaluate new third party vendors and tools, working to automate and improve reporting, and ensuring rigorous data governance practices.
